How does it work?
The movemeeasy.co.uk service is free and you are under no obligation. You select the area that you are moving from and the companies that you would like to receive quotes from. You then provide basic information on your move requirements to enable the companies to begin the process of providing accurate and competitive prices. With your permission we then pass your details on to the companies that you have selected. With movemeeasy.co.uk you can compare like-for-like quotes without any need to look elsewhere.
How do we make money?
We charge each company a very small fee to receive your details. This is a benefit to you because the companies are able to offer bigger discounts as we reduce their marketing costs.
What do we do with your details?
With your permission we take your details and pass them on to the companies that you selected. We will not pass your details to any other third parties, without your permission. We may from time to time send you out a newsletter on other products and services that we offer.
How did all this happen?
movemeeasy.co.uk began life in early 2006. In summer 2004 we decided to switch from a directory service www.ukonthenet.com to the quick quote process - we switched track after our research with Internet users showed the frustration of having to trawl many sites to find the best deal. We launched our home improvement quote product set to the public in January 2005 and last year helped customers with over 1000 quotes per week. As I am sure you know sourcing removal quotes is an area where people need a fast and reliable way to find the most appropriate quote so we have subsequently launched movemeeasy.co.uk.
